When Eric Met Rachel...
The People Who Have
to Stand for the
WHOLE Ceremony
Rachel's Side
Eric's Side
Maid of Honor
Elizabeth Shaw
(sister) recently
completed her
revolutionary and
spectacular Classics
thesis for Bryn Mawr
college.   Though I once
tried to cook her in a
turkey roaster pan,
I've since come to love
her more than any
turkey.
Best Men
Greg Beaton (Brother):
Greg is currently a
senior at Duke
University which suits
him well, inasmuch as
he is able to hang out
only with New Yorkers,
but take advantage of a
longer golf season. Some
years, the basketball is
pretty decent too.

Andrew Beaton
(Brother):
Andrew has a tough job,
having to live up to my
legacy, and to a lesser
extent, to Greg's.
Certainly the most
outgoing Beaton man,
Andrew is currently a
Sophomore in high
school in New York City,
where thankfully he has
had few teachers that
remember me.

Groomsmen
Jason Pruzansky:
Jason is every Jewish
mother's dream - not
only is he going to be a
doctor, but he is also tall,
and makes great friends.
Jason and I have known
each other since 7th
grade, and
communicate primarily
through Simpsons
references.

Beau Shaw:
Beau is my oldest friend,
having met him at day
camp the summer before
first grade. After 10
years of camp, magic
shows on the street, and
one highly unfortunate
music video, Beau and I
have remained close.
Beau has graciously
agreed to leave the West
Village to attend this
happy event.
Man of Honor
Daniel Shaw (brother)
is a rising Junior at
Cornell, studying
English and Fraternity
Culture.  Though he is
quite the traditionalist,
he has agreed to be my
Man of Honor as he is
the best brother in the
whole wide world.

Bridesmaids
Sarah Goodwin
(acquaintance since
7th grade and divine
complement since
10th)  is an amazingly
phenomenal scientist
currently getting her
Ph.D. at UCSF in
something that most
people are not awesome
enough to understand.

Vivian Chu
(fashion soul mate since
10th grade) is a totally
rockin'' 3rd year
student of law at the
Univ. of Denver who is
doubly blessed with an
encyclopedic knowledge
of art history.  Petite
with a bite that may be
worse than her bark,
Vivy is one of a kind.

Lizzy Pope
(Hetero-lifemate since
move in day at
Teachers College two
years ago) - is
potentially both the
healthiest and fittest
person I've ever met
being as she in the
nutritional program at
TC and is a triathlete.
She is also the only
direct answer to a
prayer I've ever
received(Please, please
let me meet a girl at TC
who also loves JCrew
and the Bachelor.) .

Look, Harry is one of my best friends, and you are one of my best friends, and if by some
chance you two hit it off, then we could all still be friends instead of drifting apart the way
you do when you get involved with someone who doesn't know your friends.
