Harry: Suppose nothing happens to you. Suppose you lived out your whole life and nothing
happens. You never meet anybody, you never become anything, and finally you die in one of those
New York deaths which nobody notices for two weeks until the smell drifts into the hallway.
Even though Ithaca is in the middle
of nowhere, there is an abundance of
good food, quality arts, and gorgeous
gorges. Below are some of the truly

Wegman's
Potentially the best grocery store in the
world, Wegman's is the lifeblood of
Cornell students who have cars(or
know people who do).

The Dairy Bar is located on Cornell's
campus and sells a variety of products
all made by the bovines of the Ag

Taughannock Falls Park
Taughannock Falls State Park's
namesake waterfall is one of the
outstanding natural attractions of the
Northeast. Taughannock Falls plunges
215 feet past rocky cliffs that tower
nearly 400 feet above the gorge.

Buttermilk Falls State Park
The park offers fishing, hiking, a nature
trail, a playground, and a campground
with tent and trailer sites. It's also great
for swimming.

Robert Treman State Park
This beautiful area is Rachel's father's
favorite and is home to Lucifer Falls, a
100 ft cascading waterfall.

Cornell Plantations
Plantations headquarters is a short
stroll from Beebe Lake. Here you can
find many different theme gardens,
which include the Robinson York State
Herb Garden, a riot of color and scents
and the centerpiece of the Plantations.
